You can download the desktop clients from the download library, via the ARDI Online Store.
Check under Clients | AR | Release for the latest official version.
Note that desktop machines aren't usually an ideal device for running Augmented Reality applications, except for slates and convertibles with rear-facing cameras, such as the Microsoft Surface.
