====Events====

**Events** are important moments or periods of time.

They are usually loaded from an external data source, such as a database file. 

Events can represent alarms, shifts, production batches - even lunar months, if you prefer. You can also have multiple sources of events, so in some cases these will be mixed in with one-another.

Using events, you can quickly travel to different points in time by using the event name rather than needing to lookup the dates and times you need.
