====ARDI Database====

An ARDI database is a single collection of assets, relationships and properties. 

A single ARDI server can provide access to several databases, each of which cover different, isolated sections of your area of interest.

For example, in many cases you would have a different ARDI database for each //site// you have. They may also be for //customers//, //locations//, //countries// etc.

By default, they are known as **Locations**.

The behavior of these locations depends on if your system is [[Open Mode|integrated or isolated]] mode. In most cases, you'll be running an //integrated// system.
