====Virtual Scans====

A virtual scan brings the information about an asset up on your screen without actually needing the marker.

These occur when you use the [[Recent Scans]] list or perform a [[Searching for Items|search]].

Since virtual scans are always locked in place (they don't follow the marker like a real scan does), the [[lock button|lock button]] removes the scan.
